Website Privacy Notice for heycuesa.app

This notice covers heycuesa.app, the Cuesa website, published by Samson Oluwajunse ("we", "us"). The Cuesa iPhone app is covered separately by the Privacy Policy. They are two documents because the app and the site handle information differently: the app sends nothing to us at all, and the site can collect an email address.

The short version: this site has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. The only personal information it collects is an email address, and only if you choose to type one into the waitlist.

1. The waitlist

If you submit the waitlist form, the email address you enter is sent to Loops, the email platform we use to send updates about Cuesa. Nothing else is collected with it — no name, no location, no profile.

We use that address only to send occasional updates about Cuesa. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone other than Loops, which processes it on our behalf under its own privacy policy.

Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. You can also write to us and ask to be removed — see section 7.

2. What your browser stores

One item, cuesa-theme, kept in your browser's local storage. It remembers whether you chose Light, Dark or Auto so the site looks the same when you come back. It stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

We set no cookies. There is no cookie banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

3. Analytics and tracking

None. No analytics, no tag manager, no advertising, no social pixels, and no third-party scripts beyond the site's own. We do not know how many pages you read, where you came from, or who you are.

4. Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel and served through Cloudflare. As with any website, their servers process each request and may keep standard logs — IP address, browser user agent, time and page requested — to deliver the site and to protect it from abuse.

Those logs are handled by Vercel and Cloudflare as our hosting providers, under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.

5. Links to other places

The site links out — to the App Store, and to the studio behind Cuesa. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies rather than this one.

6. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Your rights

If you joined the waitlist, the only personal information we hold about you is that email address. You can ask us to confirm what we have, correct it, or delete it, and we will. Unsubscribing deletes it from the list on its own.

If you never used the waitlist, we hold nothing about you and there is nothing to act on.

8. Changes to this notice

If the site starts doing something new with information — analytics, a different email platform, an account system — this notice will be updated before that change goes live, and the date at the top will say when.
